Problem statement

  • Onboarding was not effective in activating new users (creating a template and sending a test email)

  • New users discovered interactive emails later in the product journey which impacted it's adoption.

  • The current onboarding didn't educate about the features and functionality

Structure

  1. Read through the problem statement and research document (10 mins)

  2. Quick ideation individually, quantity over quality (10 mins)

  3. Sketch out your top 3 ideas (20 mins)

  4. Present your idea sketches to the group (10 mins)

  5. Silently vote on the ideas (5 mins)

  6. Review the top voted ideas and ask why (10 mins)

  7. Map them on the value vs effort graph (Optional)
